Global Citizenship Challenges

The third lesson aims to engage you and your students in an exploration of global citizenship challenges. This lesson also encourages students to tackle those challenges in order to improve their world.

Specifically, this lesson focuses on five global citizenship challenges. These challenges are:

  • gender inequality
  • migration
  • armed conflict
  • poverty
  • climate change

The activities and resources of this lesson, aim to create a space for classroom-style discussions where the students can express their opinion, views and feelings. Through these activities and resources, students will understand how these challenges affect people around the world as well as on possible actions that can take in order to live in a better world.
